Celia Stoecklin

Chef, Filia Dubai

Célia Stoecklin has aspired to become a chef since she was a child. As a result, at the age of fourteen, she began her career with a two-year apprenticeship at "Le 7eme continent," a one-Michelin-star restaurant in France. She then spent two years honing her skills in a two-star Italian restaurant called "Il Cortile," as well as competing in two French national competitions. Célia then worked at Guy Savoy, a three Michelin-starred restaurant in Paris, before moving on to the Four Seasons Hotel George V, where she gained experience in a variety of kitchens while honing her techniques and culinary knowledge.

She chose to move to Dubai after her time in France, where she joined the Jumeirah Group team, helping to open "French Riviera," a French Mediterranean restaurant that is now one of the company's signature restaurants and is rated the very first UAE Gault & Millau Guide. Her time with Michelin-starred restaurants, honing her skills alongside world-renowned chefs has elevated her culinary background, allowing her to hone her techniques to a level of perfection that has led her to be nominated as one of the 30 best chefs under 30 in the Middle East just one year after her start in the company, and she receives the award "Best Hotel Young Chef of the Year" not long after.

Chef Célia is a name well-recognized in Dubai's culinary scene for her keen insight and creativity when it comes to creating and curating innovative new dishes while balancing the simple and complex. Her illustrious career over the last ten years has been driven by her hard work and passion, which she continues to pursue.
