Eugene Kovalenko (Yauheni Kavalenka) born on May 14, 1988. Master’s Degree in Linguistics, Professional Diploma in Marketing
Started his career in robotics in 2017 as a Chief Marketing Officer at Rozum Robotics. The company was manufacturing and designing collaborative robotic arms and actuators. To promote the product the team designed a robotic barista which became the key product for the company. Across 2018-2021 Eugene in his roles of Chief Commercial Officer and Product Owner launched robotic coffee shops Rozum Cafe and Cubo in Ukraine, Belarus, Cyprus, Poland, UAE and Saudi Arabia. Gained experience allowed starting his consultancy work which resulted in close collaboration with food tech manufacturer FIBBEE and later launch of its international Dubai based subsidiary - Click Coffee. Working with the team, Eugene managed to set up a chain of robotic coffee shops in CIS region, having launched multiple robotic barista projects across Dubai (Etisalat HQ, Nakheel Sales Office, Emirates Experience Center) as well as entered exclusive partnership relationship with the biggest MENA drive through chain Barn’s / Al Amjaad (Saudi based).
More than 20 robotic coffee objects in 7 countries were launched by Eugene.
