My name is Jeremy Palacios, a Salvadoran professional specializing in the coffee industry with over 10 years of experience.. My passion for coffee began in 2012 while working in a café in El Salvador, where I had the opportunity to observe a colleague preparing for a barista competition. This pivotal moment inspired me to deepen my knowledge of coffee.
Throughout my career, I have held various positions, including barista assistant, barista, quality control manager, and roaster, which have allowed me to enhance my skills and expertise at each stage. My early experience in the industry, particularly as a quality control manager in a café warehouse, provided me with the opportunity to build essential relationships with producers, roasters, and coffee experts, reinforcing my decision to pursue this profession. This journey has been characterized by ongoing learning and professional development.
Since 2019, I have been working in the United Arab Emirates, where I currently serve as the Head of the Coffee Department, Quality Control Manager, and Head Roaster at a distinguished café. During this time, I have focused on coffee roasting, working with some of the finest beans globally and adapting my knowledge to an international market that values excellence in every detail. My commitment has always been to deliver products of the highest quality, supported by a relentless pursuit of continuous improvement and education.
I firmly believe that the coffee industry is a dynamic and ever-evolving field. Each day, I strive to contribute to the advancement of this culture by exploring innovative techniques and trends to satisfy the most discerning palates.
